Basket Full of Blooms

My Flower Layers #2 Die and Texture Plates were still sitting out on my work area - so I decided to put them to good use and turn them into flowers to put inside of my Die Cut Blooms Basket. To add texture to my card stock, I ran the card stock through my Texture Plates using the Big Shot, then cut the card stock using the Flower Die #2. Add color to the raised areas using a sponge dauber and inks. Punch a hole in the center using your Crop-a-Dile, then slide in your DumDum - instant flowers! The leaves are created by running Olive card card stock through the Texture plates then cutting them with the Large Oval Punch. Again, punch a hole with your Crop-a-Dile and slide it onto the DumDum stick, easy peasy!

I placed a piece of styrofoam inside my basket, added some crumpled Cocoa card stock to hide the foam, tied on my Chocolate Grosgrain and added the die cut flower from the Basket & Blooms Die Cut.

I think these make cute little baskets!

OMG this is the cutest idea! I'm going to have to cut some flowers on my Cricut and basically do the same thing...what an awesome idea!

What an adorable idea! I have that die already, just not those texture plates. Think I'll give it a try, and then re-do it when my SU order arrives with the flower die they sell and those texture plates. Don't know why they didn't choose this die, it's great. It has more pizazz than the one in the catalog.
