Time is a Circus

Don't you just LOVE new stamps! Artistic Outpost is releasing 3 new plates - Cutie Pie, Fortune Teller and Vintage Circus...and that's not all - these plates come unmounted and mounted. They're specially priced too for a limited time!

Over the next few days I'll be showcasing some of the projects I've created using these new plates. Be sure to stop by the Artistic Outpost Blog to view the links to the other Design Team Members, we've also got artwork from 3 of our Guest Designers for these releases!

I used this weeks CPS Sketch for my inspiration and the Vintage Circus plate from Artistic Outpost. I rotated the sketch to fit my needs. In place of the squiggly lines on Tami's sketch, I stamped the "admit one" image in Black Archival on WorldWin Papers Treasures Crimson Red card stock. The focal image is stamped in Black Archival on watercolor paper, then colored using the TJNL technique - Marker Water Coloring. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip Ink, then layered it onto a piece of WordWin Treasures Night Indigo, and adhered to my base card. Stamped my sentiment in Black Archival. Stamped a few more "admit one" on my Crimson Red, then punched them with my Paper Shapers Ticket Punch, edged them in Chocolate, crumpled them and adhered them to my card.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost - Vintage Circus
Ink - Black Archival, Chocolate Chip, Markers
Card Stock - WorldWin Papers - Crimson, Night Indigo, SU Watercolor
Other - Aquapainter, Paper Shapers Ticket Punch

I love everything you do and of course this is no exception. I have been meaning to tell you I saw a card of yours in the winter 09 take ten and now I can't find the page! Do you have more then one published in this one? I'll find it. It seemed like it had a familiar touch to it because you definately have a style all your own. I'll test myself to see if I can find it without looking at the name. :-)
