TJ Blogstravaganza - Chocolate Holiday Tin Pail

YUM! Who wouldn't love to receive this Chocolate Holiday Tin Pail! If you follow my blog, there always seems to be one set at Christmastime that I can't seem to put down. Last year it was Jolliest Time of the Year, don't get me wrong, I still like that set, but one of the sets I seem to be really drawn to this year is Holiday Lineup - gotta love 'em!

I started out by stamping each of the images from Holiday Lineup in Black Archival Ink on watercolor paper, then colored them using the Marker Watercoloring Technique (yep another favorite of mine!). I then punched out 2 circles (1-1/4") from each image, being careful to have a small portion left to be used later.

I layered these pieces onto my 1-3/8" circle then onto my scallop piece, stuck a sucker stick (from the Wilton section at Michael's) into my Peppermint Patty, then adhered a scallop piece to the front (image showing), then a black scallop to the back.

With the leftover small image you have colored - cut it down to fit as a layer onto of your DSP that you will be using to wrap around a Hershey Nugget. (my DSP is 1" x 3" to cover my nugget) The sticks don't slide easily into the Nuggets, so I placed a Pop Up Glue Dot on the back and adhered my stick.

Place foam into your pail of choice, push in your sticks, and add some decorative crumpled papers. For my tag, I used my JustRite Christmas Stamp Ensemble, stamping my image in Red on White card stock, then cutting my images with my Circle Nesties. I also cut my Red and Green layers with my Nesties. Before adhere my images, I sponged Red ink around the edges of the White card stock, added some Green and Red Stickles to the tag to give it some added bling, let it dry, then punched a hole with my 1/16" hole punch and tied on my Red/White MS Thread around my stick in the front of the pot.

Details:
Stamps - JustRite Christmas Ensemble, 3-1/4" Blister Pack, Holiday Lineup
Ink - Black, Markers, Red, Chocolate Chip
Card Stock - White, Red, Olive, Watercolor
Other - 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1/16" Hole Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Punch, Circle Nesites, Big Shot, Aquapainter, String, Stickles, Pop Up Glue Dots, Candy, Pail
