I had received a card stock CD Box from my friend Jeannette a few years ago, I'm not sure where she originally got the pattern from to give credit to it's originator, but I've recreated the template to share here on my blog.
Once I created my box, I wheeled my Bold Snowflakes in red down one side, and added little dots with my white gel pen. Punched my 1/2 circle, and rounded my corners. I stamped my sentiment in Black Ink (not sure why Blogger has decided to blur my sentiment, but it is clear IRL).
I also added inserts inside my box to separate the CDs. (That's the black tab you see sticking up)
My Santa Image is from Santa's Sweet Shoppe, he's stamped in Black on White card stock. I used the Paper Piecing Technique to add my Red Paper (from the Sharon Ann Christmas Magic Collection - Little Yellow Bicycle that I purchased here), to Santa's Suit, I then colored the rest of my image with Shimmerz.
Adhered my stamped panel to a black panel, and attached to my box with dimensionals. I used Sticky Strip to adhere the sides of my box. I wrapped some Twill Ribbon around my box and tied it through a piece of HodgePodge Hardware.
To make your box, you'll need a piece of card stock 11-3/4" x 6"
I used my Scor-Pal to score at 5", 5-1/2", 10-1/2" and 11"
I used my Scor-Pal to score at 5", 5-1/2", 10-1/2" and 11"
Rotate card stock and score at 1/2" and 5-1/2"
I drew in the lines on this piece for a better visual
You fold on the dashed lines, cut on the solid lines, and assemble. If you want a printed visual - click here. (Google is being temperamental, so I'm using a different program to host my document until I can get this issue resolved.)
