Bloggers Challenge - Bugs & Insects....

Week 55 on Bloggers Challenge brings us Bugs and Insects! For this weeks challenge card - I've combined the soon to be retired Touch of Nature, with the new release Dreams du Jour, and some of the new In Colors!

For my background, I used the butterfly from Touch of Nature, and did the Vanilla Double Technique with Vanilla and Red Riding Hood inks, on Red Riding Hood card stock. My main image is stamped in black on watercolor paper, then colored with an Aquapainter and the following inks - Red Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip. The small butterfly from Dreams du Jour is stamped in Tangerine Tango, then I used a sponge dauber and Chocolate Chip ink to add some aging. I've placed this on a dimensional to add some depth.

Details:
Stamps - Touch of Nature, Dreams du Jour
Ink - Black, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, Red Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Vanilla Craft
Card Stock - Watercolor, Kiwi Kiss, Red Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip
Other - Dimensionals, Sponge Dauber, Aquapainter

If you'd like to play along with the Bugs & Insects Challenge, simply leave a link to your card in the comments section, or if uploading to SCS, please use keyword BC55, so we can find your creations!

Have a great Friday!

Very pretty card Lisa. I love the soft feel of your background (reminds me of "Ghosting") - How neat to see the new "in" colors as well (I just got mine tonight).
