I've been trying to finish up a few things and get some Kit Classes planned...Thought I'd take a break and check out this weeks SCS Sketch. This is such a quick and easy sketch, I was happy for the distraction.
For this card I used Bloomin' Beautiful - I stamped the image in black and clear embossed so I could watercolor pretty fast. The vase part of the image was stamps/embossed again on Afternoon Tea DSP, cut out and layered on the main image for some depth. The side scallops were made using the 1" circle punch, simply punch and adhere to the back of your card. To add some depth to the blank space on my guava card stock, I stamped Canvas in Creamy Caramel.
Here's two more using the same sketch - on both of these I used the image Sweet Little One from Cornish Heritage Farms....Can't wait for the little boy image to join my collection!
I just love the look of black and white cards....The designer paper I used is from Teresa Collins - available at ISC.
For those of you who read my blog - you know I just love the Watercolor Distress Technique (TJNL). After finishing the technique, I went back with my distress inks and painted over some of the image to make her pop. The designer paper used here is Basic Grey - Boxer that I got from Flourishes.
Happy Wednesday!
