Better late than never! I could give you a hundred reasons why I'm late with this weeks challenge - but I won't bore you with my details. This weeks challenge was "inspired by" - what does that mean? We were to create something that was inspired by something (i.e. - magazine ad, card layout, color layout) or someone. I had lots of inspiration pieces, but my final projects weren't so inspiring, as they hit the trash can!
Then this morning I passed this pillow on the chair in my front room....
To recreate this look I stamped my images from Fred Mullett in versamark on black card stock, and added heat and stick powder - heat until the color turns clear, but don't over heat. Then I pounced on some Pearl Ex with sponge daubers, and brushed off the extra with a stipple brush. You could also wipe off the extra with a dryer sheet. I know there's a technique name for this - but at this time, it escapes me!
