Iris Folding

He's Back!!! Yep, I'm bringing back that cute little Santa from Jolliest Time of the Year for some Iris Folding fun!

To create the opening in my card stock - I used the 1 3/8" square punch, and overlapped my punches - here's a peek at what it looked like when I was almost done punching

I did the same thing to create the red square window accent, just trimmed down my window so the border is only 1/8" all the way around.

I used the pattern found here for my Iris Folding. Now, I know what your thinking - that pattern is in the shape of a circle - so I just rotated my card stock until I got my square centered around the middle of the iris, and only added a few pieces of paper for the iris folding.

If you were wondering - the Santa does not show through to the inside of the card - he's stamped directly onto the vanilla layer that is sandwiched in between the artichoke and red base card.
