Baroque gets Kissed

Below are two cards created using the "Kissing Technique". What exactly is the kissing technique you ask??? It's actually a simple technique - ink your main image then press (kiss) another image to it. Remove the stamp, then stamp your image onto your card stock.

For this first card I inked my Baroque Background stamp in moss then kissed my Sanded Background stamp to it, then stamped the Baroque onto vanilla card stock. (Note the lines in my Baroque image.) Use a sponge dauber in moss ink to edge vanilla card stock.

Details:
Stamps - Baroque & Sanded Background, Sentiment from Penny Black
Ink - Moss
Card Stock - Vanilla, Artichoke

This next card is done the same way - except I inked my Baroque image in burgundy - kissed it with the Sanded Background then stamped onto white card stock. I used a sponge dauber and Burgundy ink and edged the card then filled in the white areas.

Details:
Stamps - Baroque, Sanded, Many Merry Messages
Ink - Burgundy
Card Stock - Silver, White, Burgundy

Very pretty cards. I like the texture the "kissin" gives the baroque background. :)

Beautiful effect on that Baroque stamp, gives it an antique look. That stamp is the perfect background for those sentiment/art pieces. Nice composition. Great technique.
