I haven't put away the sets I used a few posts ago on my blog. I still had them out, as I was using Classic Pickups in yesterday's class. The layout on these two cards comes from Sketch Challenge 119, a great place to go to when you need layout inspiration!
This first card uses Lovey as a Tree and the Au Chocolat Designer Series Paper from the Spring Mini. For the coloring of the tree I used the Pencil Over Marker Technique from the Technique Junkies Newsletter.
This next card features Classic Pickups and the Flannel Plaid Background stamps. I stamped my car in black stazon, so the colors wouldn't run, then I used my aquapainter and Watercolor Crayons to color my image. I also used the sponge dauber and black ink to add some distress coloring to my card stock - for a more manly feel.
If you haven't had a chance to read your April Stampin' UPdates yet - be sure to check out my Special this weekend!

Hi - I saw your post at Technique Junkies (I'm new there), and I came on over. Your card is gorgeous. Your class should love it.
Two fabulous cards! I especially like the tree. The leaves on the dark green are SO awesome!
