Altered Frames

I've had some frames sitting around that were just begging to be altered. This first frame came from the Target Dollar Spot - but you can also purchase them at Joanns.

To alter this frame - I applied The Glue Essential Glue Pad directly to my frame - then stippled on my pearl ex colors. Since there is no heating involved with this glue pad - it was quick and easy - no mess! I then stamped my Doodle This images in black stazon.

Here's the cardboard frame again. I stamped my Serene Sunflower images in more mustard, chocolate chip, black and old olive. I then stamped my Canvas background in creamy caramel. Using a sponge dauber and chocolate chip ink - I edged the frame.






This next frame I found at my local Michaels store - it's wooden and runs about $1.00.

For this frame - I used a brushed on some Scotch Tacky Adhesive to my wooden frame, then attached my Notations DS Paper (cut just 1/16" larger than my frame), and let it dry. Once my frame was dry - I cut out the inside using my exacto knife, sanded the edges with a sanding block and used a sponge dauber to apply Certainly Celery ink to the edges. I my twill take with Twill Snapz from Junkitz (I got mine at Innovative Stamp Creations ).

Here's the wooden frame again. This time I mixed some White Lumiere with some Pearl Ex and painted it onto my wooded frame. Once the frame was dry, I inked my French Script background stamp in stazon and stamped it onto my frame. The fish netting is attached with glue dots and I used Crystal Effects to adhere the shells.
