Today I got together with my friend Sheryl, to work on some upcoming class ideas. That's the great thing about being a demonstrator, I've made so many great friends!
Right now, I'm currently working on some swap cards for to upcoming events. This first card is for a swap for my "girls weekend" at the Cape. I used Bundle of Joy from the Spring Mini, along with the Cottoned Color Technique from the April Technique Junkies Newsletter. The Cottoned Color adds just a little bit of BLING to the teddy bear. The sketch comes from a past SCS Sketch Challenge, and the color combination is one I used on a previous Bundle of Joy post - I think the colors work well for either gender.

Now on to my SCS Shoebox Swap....What do you prepare for 80 women, most of whom you've never met...Keep in mind it should take 10 minutes or less, and have a WOW factor...Yes, I know a bit out of season, but I think of it as helping them get a jump on their Holiday cards. I love the Snowflake Spot for holiday cards, and here, I've paired it with the Scor-It Grid Technique from the August Technique Junkies Newsletter. The Scor-It, is a must have tool in my book - it makes nice deep score marks - which are what is needed for this card to have the WOW factor! I stamped the snowflakes in Night of Navy, and added some Silver for sparkle! I purchased my Scor-It from Betsy at Innovative Stamp Creations , and right now it's ON SALE!
