Here's a quick and easy tutorial to make a box that will hold cards and envelopes. I've used the Petals & Paisley DS Paper, and the Petals Jumbo Wheel on this tutorial. There is also a finished sample at the bottom that uses the items in the Spring Fever Promotion.
Supplies needed:
- Card stock 8 ½ “ x 10 ½”
- DS paper 3 ¾” x 5 ¾”
- 2 Eyelets
- Tool Kit
- Ribbon 14” – cut in ½
- Wheel
- Punches
- Corner Rounder
- Scissors
- Sticky Strip
- Cutter
- Scoring Blade or Bone Folder
Using your 8 1/2" x 10 1/2" card stock - score 1 3/8” in on both sides
Turn your card stock you are now scoring from the 10 1/2" side - Score 4 9/16” in turn and score 4 9/16” from the other side
Fold card stock under a scrap piece, and wheel, flip and wheel other side
Cut in on your score marks as shown, repeat with other side

![](http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_GHuUEvL_CBw/RgGuaFDBFQI/AAAAAAAAAIU/txZ4SJMMoxs/s320/roundcorners.jpg)
Using your DS paper score at 1 3/8” from one end, then score 1” from the other end, use your corner punch and round the corners on the 1 3/8” side as shown

Find the center of your paper, and adhere punched out pieces with an eyelet on the 1 3/8” side of your DS paper

With your box open, place your DS paper onto your box, so you can find placement for your second punch out piece, adhere with an eyelet
![](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_GHuUEvL_CBw/RgHSylDBFTI/AAAAAAAAAIs/XH8PK1AHkuM/s320/stickystrip.jpg)
Apply sticky strip as shown, and close box
![](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_GHuUEvL_CBw/RgHTGlDBFUI/AAAAAAAAAI0/kZ2I20sQxZA/s320/adheredspaper.jpg)
Adhere the 1” side of the DS paper to the back of your box using sticky strip.
For box closure – put one piece of ribbon through each eyelet and tie a knot to secure (knot should be on the inside of the box)
