Seasons Change - Our Daily Bread Designs September New Release and Blog Hop

Welcome to the New Release post and Blog Hop showcasing projects from Our Daily Bread Designs September Release! You can see all of the September Releases here. Continue reading below to find out how you can win one of three $25 Gift Codes to the ODBD Website!

It's hard to believe we have started the season of "ber" months!  Today, I'm sharing a fall themed card using the new Seasons Change stamp set, coordinating Wheelbarrow die, Grass Hill and Grass Lawn dies along with some previously released ODBD Dies and Paper Collections (see supply list below).

I started out by die cutting the pattern paper from the Blooming Garden Collection with one of the dies from the Leafy Edged Borders die set to create the curve.  Then using the Grass Hill die, I die cut the Green Paper from the Birthday Brights Paper Collection. Note, when die cutting the Grass Hill, cut the die from the back side (non-colored side) so that it lines up with the curve from the Leafy Edged Borders Die.

The Wheelbarrow from the Seasons Change stamp set is stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor Paper, then colored with Watercolor Markers, blending with a Waterbrush. The image was die cut using the Wheelbarrow die.  To create the scene, I die cut a scrap of watercolor paper using the Pieced Circles Die, and added the following die cut pieces: Fence (scrap of watercolor paper), Grass Hill (Birthday Brights), Grass Lawn (Birthday Brights).  I sponged over the Clouds die (Clouds and Raindrops) with Blue ink to add the sky, then added the Wheelbarrow image using dimensionals, placing everything on an Espresso Circle die cut panel.

To further embellish the card, I added the tools from the Tools and Apron die set, the border using the Trellis Strip Die and the stamped and die cut sentiment panel.
