Our Daily Bread Designs April Release

Welcome to the New Release post showcasing projects from Our Daily Bread Designs April Release!  You can see all of the April Releases here.  Continue reading below to find out how you can win one of three $15 Gift Certificates to the ODBD Store good towards the purchase of ODBD stamps.

Today, I am sharing two projects with you that use some of the stamps, ODBD Custom Dies and new paper collections from the April Release along with a few previously released stamps and ODBD Custom Dies.

To create the Chalkboard Easel, I cut the Kraft panel 3/4" in on both sides and 1-1/2" up.  I cut additional Kraft panels for the front of the easel, stamping the Wood Background in Espresso Ink, sponging the edges and popping the panels up on dimensionals over the base card for added dimension.

The Chalkboard panel is created by stamping the Chalkboard Word Collage in Ranger Back Archival Ink on White card stock.  The edges are sponged with Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  The stamped panel is adhered to a Black panel then to the base card.  Toe embellish, I die cut the ODBD Custom Fancy Foliage Die from Olive card stock, the ODBD Custom Vintage Flourish Pattern Die from Eggplant, the ODBD Custom Ornamental Crosses Die from White and Eggplant card stock and layered the die cuts as shown, added a Seam Binding and Zva Creative Crystal Gems.

Details:
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Wood Background, ODBD Chalkboard Word Collage
Card Stock - Kraft, White, Eggplant
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - Big Shot, Zva Creative Crystal Gems, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Seam Binding, ODBD Custom Ornamental Crosses Die, ODBD Custom Fancy Foliage Die, Ink Blending Tool

My next card, is a Tri-Accordion Fold card and features the ODBD Custom Vintage Flourish Die, ODBD Chalkboard Paper Collection and ODBD Custom Fancy Foliage Die.

To create the Tri-Accordion Fold, I cut my card stock at 5-1/2" x 12", scoring at 1-3/4", 3-1/2", 5-5/8" and 7-7/8", when folded it is an A2 size card.  All pattern paper panels are cut from the ODBD Chalkboard Paper Collection, sponged in Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and layered on White panels sponged with the same ink, then layered on the base card.  To embellish the front panel, I used the Vintage Flourish Pattern Die to die cut the White and Black card stock panels and also the label panel from the ODBD Chalkboard Paper Collection, sponged the edges and layered as shown.  To further embellish, I die cut the ODBD Fancy Foliage Die from Olive card stock, added some Prima Flowers, White Seam Biding and Zva Creative Crystal Gems.  The "sweet friend" panel is cut from the ODBD Chalkboard Paper Collection, then layered onto the White ODBD Custom Vintage Flourish Pattern Die.
