The Cross is stamped in Bordering Blue on Vanilla card stock. I used a SAMJ to stamp the verse in Chocolate ink. The beautiful papers are from Authentique's Hope Collection. To embellish I added Zva Creative Crystal Flourishes in Blue (CRW-05CB-125), along with Mini Roses (FLBK-03CB-129/FLBK-03CB-109).

ReplyDeleteI really like how you used the cross of nails behind your verse and really like how it pops with the blue background. The distressing on the edges of each panel really give this card depth and I like that you didn't do an "overkill" of flowers.

ReplyDeleteThe use of 2 colors draws the eye to the design and to the verse - which is the true heart of the card, rather than to embellishments. This is absolutely stunning - the dimensions of the pieces perfect. Simply elegant!
