Life the Life you Dreamed

I was playing around with the Marbled Stains Technique in the Compendium of Curiosities Book #2 and found that it worked much better for me to stamp my images first then add the Distress Stains.  By doing this, it allowed the richness of the images to remain, without becoming blotchy.  Not to mention, it allowed me to place my colors on the paper.  Yes, I'm a bit anal sometimes when it comes to placement of color!

All images are from the Artistic Outpost Kudzu Kafe Plate.  The Kafe and sentiment were stamped in Black on Watercolor paper, then I added the Distress Stains to complete the background.  The girl was stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then colored with STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils, and Mars Graphic Markers.  The WC Pencil was blended with Gamsol, then the image cut out and adhered in place.
