For the Papa's Trunk template, I stamped the Wood Background from Our Daily Bread Designs in Olive on the Olive template pieces, then sponged the edges with Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. The hinges and lock were cut from Espresso card stock, then crumpled to age a bit.
To embellish the top of the box, I stamped the image from ODBD Not Forgotten set in Black Archival, and colored with STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils. I added bits of Authentique Glory pattern paper under the image, a quill pen, filmstrip and metal star. I also added a bit of pattern paper to to lock. The box is perfect for a small gift, storing photographs, or stamps and return address labels.
Details:
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Wood Background, Not Forgotten
Ink - Ranger Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, Ranger Black Archival, Old Olive
Card Stock - White, Espresso, Old Olive
Other - STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils, Gamsol, Dimensionals, Brads, Scor-Tape, Scor-Pal, Authentique Glory Pattern Paper, Spellbinders Oval Dies, Big Shot, Star, Quill, Ink Blending Tool, Nibs
I turned the Comfy Sofa/Chair into a Chaise Lounge
The pattern paper is from the Bo Bunny Weekend Market Collection, the sides of the chair were cut from Espresso card stock. I added a little pillow with the sentiment "for you". By extending the box out as a Chaise Lounge, it's the perfect place to hide a gift card!
