Not having the coordinating stamps to go with the Valentine Embossing Folder (what was I thinking), I had to get a little creative. I used Acrylic Paint and the Gelli Arts Plate do do a little Mono Printing on the tag, once dry, I embossed it with the Valentine Embossing Folder and highlighted with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. The sweet vintage image is from the Artistic Outpost Vintage Valentine plate. The image is stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then colored with STAEDTLER Marsgraphic Marker, cut out, stickled and added to the tag.
Not having any honeycomb paper, I cut 4 hearts from Red card stock using the Silhouette. I embossed, sponged and scored them down the center, then adhered them with Scor-Tape, then added some stickles to the edges and attached to the Tissue Tape heart. I added some Black hemp, to the heart, then to the girls hand to make it appear as if the heart was a Valentine Balloon. I added Salvage Stickers for the sentiment, and Embossed and cut some Metal Tape to trim the bottom.
