Birthday Blessings

Nope, it's not my birthday, but I'm sure I'll find someone to send this lovely card too! Don't you just love this image! I just LOVE watercoloring, so it was pretty much a given that I get the new Happy Birthday Set from Our Daily Bread Designs. I used the Marker Watercoloring Technique (from a past TJNL issue) and my Stampin' Up! Markers to color the watering can, flowers and butterflies. I also used the Out of the Box Technique to have the spout of the watering can stick outside the stamped panel. The butterflies are popped up on dimensionals on the Basic Grey June Bug panels. I used a SAMJ for the sentiment, as the sentiment was too large to fit into my open space. Now to check my calendar to see who's birthday is coming up!

This card is adorable! Looks like I've been missing some really good stuff on your blog lately! I finally updated mine today after almost a month - July has been too busy for creating, I think. I don't know where you find the time!
