Faux Iris Folding

It's that time...The June TJNL has been mailed, and I've been dying to share some of the samples I created with this issues Techniques. Faux Iris Folding is one of the new techniques in the June Issue, and I think it just may be my "new" favorite technique! Well, for today's post it is!

I didn't have a lot of large punches, so I used the Top Note Die from Stampin' Up! to create the opening for my Iris Folding. (Note - Spellbinders Dies will work perfectly for this too - I'll share some of those next week - be sure to check back). I used the beautiful Parisian Breeze DSP to create the Faux Iris Folding. The flower is from Fifth Avenue Floral stamped in Chocolate on Baja Breeze card stock, then adhered to my panel with Dimensionals.

I'll be sharing more of the new June Techniques next week - be sure to stop back. Not a subscriber - check out how you can subscribe by clicking here.

Details:
Stamps - Fifth Avenue Floral (Stampin' Up!)
Ink - Chocolate Chip
Card Stock - Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Parisian Breeze
Other - Dimensionals, Top Note, Big Shot, Sponge Dauber

Oh, I LOVE this, Lisa! I've only tried iris folding a few times and I'm hoping the faux technique is a little easier/faster to do. Can't wait to check out the June TJN issue!
