Marker Misting Tutorial

Here's a great twist on the Smackin' Acetate Technique - 06/03 TJNL.

Marker Misting

Lisa Somerville – Independent Stampin’ Up! © Demonstrator

Supplies:
Black Stazon
SU Markers
Spritz bottle
Acetate
Open Image Stamps
Glossy Card Stock

Ink stamp with stazon, stamp on acetate. Let dry.

Flip your acetate over – you’ll be working on the back side, color with markers as desired.

Lightly spritz acetate.

Place the acetate spritz sided down onto your glossy card stock – you’ll see the color begin to vein and spread. Finish card as desired.

Finished Card

An alternate way to do this technique would be to stamp your images on glossy card stock using black stazon. Color all images with markers. Mist a piece of acetate, smack it on top of your colored images. Remove the acetate immediately so it doesn’t stick to your glossy card stock.
